What is it that you plan to make?
I plan to make a chair with multiple parts, that can collapse. The idea is to have a chair that doesn't take up as much space as a regular chair would, because it can be broken or folded down to a smaller size.
How did you come up with the idea for your project? Is it an original idea or a modification of something you have seen on DIY site or other?
I got the idea from both the DIY website and Mr. Diebley. The DIY website has a lot of projects done with cardboard, and my chair will be made out of cardboard. Mr. Diebley always talks about how he likes compact furniture, and new things made from discarded things. But the idea itself was my own.

These are the sketches I made for the different ideas I was trying to choose from. I had more than one sketch because I wanted to 'solve a problem with an invention,' but I didn't know what my problem should be.
What excites you most about building this project?
I was really excited that we got the chance to be creative with this project, and do whatever we possibly can. I am most excited, though, to see the final product and be able to share it with others.
